ZSI adopts a "Joint Production Planning Program" with both our customers and our subcontractors, taking into consideration of the demand curve, ordering pattern from the customers and the capacity and lead-time from the subcontractors.
Safety stocks are built up in China to make sure reliable deliveries. They are managed by ZSI logistics team. Monthly stock level report can be submitted to the customers on request.
In order to reduce the negative impacts from the longer lead-time and higher stock level requirements, ZSI implements a "Stock Plan Based Production" program, which means the production is conducted according to the rolling forecast. Through this program, we succeed in reducing the total lead-time by 30-45 days and increasing on-time deliveries drastically.
